More than a personal trainer who clocks out at the end of the session, and more than a nutritionist, each of our Coaches design custom programs for the entire picture of what keeps you fit and healthy.

Imagine a warm and friendly face waiting to greet you after a crazy workday. Our coaches will take you through tailor-made sessions, ensuring training intensity matches your daily state of being. Your coach can also programme and monitor sessions to be performed out of PT sessions and instead of just hoping your technique is right, your coach will watch your training videos, give feedback and answer questions along the way. Maybe you love combat sports, want to prepare for giving birth, want to do an Iron Man, or an old injury is flaring up. Your coach will design a program that meets your individual needs and keep it challenging, fun and safe.

Do you wonder if your nutrition matched your daily activity? Your coach will connect the dots between your daily activity, training and nutrition. They’ll also make sure you’re sleeping well and recovering between sessions to gain optimal progression.

Custom Training

Lift Each Other helps people of all levels look good and move well in all phases of life. Your coach will begin with a conversation, get to know what you want to accomplish and what’s held you back in the past. Get your first strict pull-up, learn to squat or improve athletic performance. Build muscle where you want it while still having energy for work and kids at the end of the day.

Custom workouts are created for you every week based on your priorities and what motives you to train, as well as your initial movement assessment. You’ll stay safe, make progress, and as your needs change over time, your coach will adapt with you.

Custom Nutrition

Want to shed fat and build muscle? How about improve your digestion, ditch sugar cravings, and feel more confident in the kitchen? We don’t believe in a one size fits all approach to nutrition but we do believe in helping you find out what works best for you.

Whether you want to overhaul your eating or slowly make a few tweaks over time, your coach will align your nutrition plan to your training and overall goals, and make sure it feels sustainable and enjoyable. Talk to your coach about accountability in ways that work for you. That could be a food log or just a check-in every now and again to see how things are going.

Less Stress

Training is a form of stress on your body, just like poor nourishment, lack of sleep, and anxiety about monday morning meetings. So, instead of crushing you with workouts that leave you exhausted or expose you to injury, your coach will take your stress profile into account when designing your program, and check in with you frequently to make sure you get the right dose of training.

We’ll also work with you on small but mighty habits to release the pressure, including, sun, hydration, gratitude and sleep to entering "rest and digest" states after training and before eating.

1. Consultation

After selecting your coach, you’ll have a one-on-one meeting in our studio and fill out a detailed intake to get to know your background and goals.

2. Assessment

Your coach will check your mobility, get a baseline on your strength, conditioning, how you move and account for any past injuries. You can upload additional videos to your coach for any movements not covered in the initial assessment and feedback as much information as possible. You may also log your eating, sleeping, mood and stress levels for a few days depending on your goals.

3. Custom Plan

Every week you’ll receive workouts that thoughtfully progress towards your goals. If your coach has programmed additional sessions out of session your coach will check your videos and feedback throughout the week. If necessary, you’ll get a 30-minute call with your coach to check in once a month. Resources for dialing in your nutrition will also be made available.

The LEO gym and community is such an amazing one to be part of. It has an impressive range of gym equipment available, which can so easily be incorporated into workouts.

I attend the circuits gym classes which have introduced such a broad range of different exercises into my fitness regime. I leave each session confident that I have had a full body work out. Each week is a slightly different circuit, with varying exercises included, all of which are fully explained by the trainer at the start of the session. Whether you are a beginner, intermediate or expert the trainer talks through each movement and makes you feel so comfortable in your abilities.

I started the LEO gym not knowing any of the attendees/ trainers and now am luckily enough to call the LEO community my friends. The workout and team are great for both physical and mental health and I would recommend without a doubt to anybody considering joining.

Your Questions Answered

How do I get started?
The first step is to request a free consultation to make sure your coach is a good fit for your needs. We’ll find out more about your background and interests, give all the information you need to decide and create a plan moving forward. If you decide on the day that LEO is right for you, our coach will take you through a movement screening process and ensure a smooth transition into your first session. If it takes you a little longer to decide, you can book anytime by downloading the ‘Lift Each Other’ App and purchasing your coaches services from the Webshop tile.

Should I be a competitive sports person?
The simple answer is no. We work with your background to create a path to your goals. Some want to change their body composition, others want to compete in a local event or change sport all together, others just want to feel good training and get one un-assisted pull up! Whatever your interest, your coach will design a plan for you to reach them.
How many times per week will I be training?
Your training schedule will be co-created by you and your coach according to what works best for you. Our coach will take you through technical movements in-person while writing detailed programmes for you to follow out of session. There will be as many (or as few) workouts as you need. Your schedule may also change over time and your coach will adjust your plan accordingly.
What kind of nutrition coaching is involved?
Our coaches are all working towards their Precision Nutrition certificates and have years of experience coaching clients on sustainable ways to eat in order to fuel your body with quality foods in the right quantities. As an individual, your coach will discuss nutrition and identify your top priorities. For some clients this may be simply drinking enough water and eating more slowly. For others it might be a detailed macronutrient plan. Your coach will provide all the information and accountability you need to form habits that support your needs and give you the confidence to make great nourishment part of your everyday routine.
What happens if I’m injured?
Whether you have a nagging injury from the past or a new issue pops up, your coach will make sure you are training safely and as pain free as possible. Your coach can guide you through recovery workouts and recommend lifestyle practices that promote healing as well as incorporating movements that work around your injuries but still strengthen you over time. There is almost always a way to keep moving safely. The best way to heal is to stimulate the effected area as much as possible without causing further damage. Your coach will ensure you get the right stimulus so you won’t have to guess intensity or how to modify workouts on your own.
How often will I communicate with my coach?
Your coach will work with you face to face and will communicate regularly through-out the week to ensure every weeks goals are clear. To ensure your in-person sessions are as efficient and fruitful as possible you can book time to discuss issues with your coach in our Wellness Hubs. Out of session workout results will be frequently monitored throughout the week and any questions that come up will be answered. You have the option to feedback at the end of every session. The more information you give after your sessions or on our programming platform, the more your coach will be able to adjust and fine tune your program.

At LEO we will also consider lifestyle factors such as stress, sleep, mood and mental health when gauging your progress. We do have the option of having a 30-minute Zoom call once per month, which is a great opportunity to dive deeper into program feedback to make sure you are loving the LEO experience.
What is the commitment for coaching?
Our coaches are committed to forming deep and lasting relationships with you. The minimum commitment to work with a coach is 6 weeks, though typically clients will stay on much longer, and discounts are available for longer contracts. Your coach is ready to meet your needs both now and as you evolve.

Personal Training Rules:

Arrive to your sessions 15min prior to their beginning to ensure a good warm-up and effective use of your 1h session.
Coaches may still deduct credits if a session is cancelled with-in 24h.
Direct debit credits are to be booked as purchased i.e. on the 4 DD plan you should be booking a minimum of one session per week. Credits do not roll over. They stay on account for one month. After this, they are automatically removed from the system. Make sure you get your sessions in!
Block purchases are booked in the same way as direct debits, they are to be booked as purchased i.e. a block of 12 should be used by booking three personal training sessions per week. Credits will expire if not used in time. Regular sessions are fundamental to everyone's success, yours, your coach’s and the studios. Commit to your goals!
