Pump
Bodypump™ is the original barbell class that ensures participants engage their entire body to improve strength, fitness and endurance. Often referred to as ‘Pump’ by those who love it, it’s one of the best ways to burn calories, activate muscle and stay fit and healthy. This class utilises high repetition resistance training, combining aerobic and anaerobic exercises. This will help you achieve strength and introduce lean, conditioned muscle.
Participants can expect to perform 70-100 repetitions per body part, equating to 800 movements in an average workout. Burn calories, gain strength and get healthy! We select specific music to energise you and motivate you to perform at your best. The usual duration of each class is 60 minutes. This addictive workout style hits all your major muscle groups by using optimal exercises such as squats, presses, floor lifts and pulls.
High Tempo Calisthenic Training
High intensity interval training promises the best workout in the least amount of time. It alternates between short bursts of intense exercise and periods of lower intensity exercise to improve endurance. This does not mean you will be performing the same exercise over and over, the technique is applied to many exercises for varied and engaging workouts. Intervals can deliver the most dramatic health improvements for your exercise time.
These classes are performed using body weight only and, as such, usually remain in the aerobic range, this is great for fat burn and low-level muscle development. During these classes your heart rate will be hitting 80 percent of its maximum capacity for approximately one to five minutes, with periods of rest or less intense exercise. It is not easy to know that you’re working at 80 percent, but a Fitbit or heart rate monitor can track your training.

Circuits
Circuit training is a fast-paced class in which you do one exercise for 30 seconds to five minutes before moving onto another exercise. It’s like playing musical chairs, everyone begins at a station with a set exercise and on the instructor’s signal, everyone moves to the next station.
Some classes alternate an aerobic activity, like hurdles or stationary cycling, with a muscle-strengthening activity, such as using free weights. Others focus exclusively on muscle conditioning or aerobic exercise. Circuit classes are popular among busy people who want to combine a strength and aerobic routine in one workout. Anyone who wants a fun and fast-paced workout will like circuit classes
Specific Muscle Targeting
We can combine any of the above training methods to really work specific muscle groups. Whether it be Abs and Gluteus, fondly known as ‘Bums and Tums’ or dedicated upper body work outs and lower body work outs.
Station Booking
We also offer the booking of specific stations and areas of the gym for use with groups. These bookings can be PT or self-led.
